This years colours awards were a booming success with the club gaining several awards from the Sports Union, recipiants included:
Club Service award for Maureen Kerr
Mo is a tireless member of the club, between juggling her final year in uni, her disertation and the organisation of the clubs admin, she has done a great job in the last year. She always finds time to come to all the fundraisers and is a welcoming face for new members. At intervaristy time she got stuck in to the logistical planning of the weekend, and helped made it a great success!
Half colours for Niamh Byrne
Niamh (known to us all as Neville), is a great fencer and a great member of the club, she has put alot of dedication into improving her skill in Epee this year resulting in selection for the NI Student 5 Nations Team, and the Winton Cup Squad. Despite being on placement she still makes time to attend club functions and training when ever she can.
Full Colours for Andrew Fenwick
Andrew Fenwick despite a hectic shedule of training, competeing and class, he is still very much a member of the Coleraine club, making time to come to club function and fundraisers, and helping less experianced members improve their own skills in fencing. Andrew is currently 32nd in the world.
